Retailer will focus on plus sizes
Value fashion retailer Bonmarché has unveiled Glenn Taylor as merchandising director, with effect from November 1.

Taylor was previously head of merchandising at Bonmarché and has been with the company for three years, following on from three years at sister company Peacocks.

Taylor said: 'A key focus has been the task of highlighting our existing size offer, 12-24, and improving the availability of the larger sizes in particular. This is a very important issue, with womenswear size ranges being a much discussed topic recently.

'We have invested in a replenishment system, which will be rolled out in the new year and will be concentrating on bringing new lines into the business more frequently than in previous seasons.'

With more than 360 stores nationwide, Bonmarché is continuing its planned£2.5 million programme of store improvements. It has completed 41 refits to date with a further 22 to be completed by March next year.
