Kennet Properties, the property arm of RWE Thames Water, has signed up PC World and Furniture Village for its£50 million Wycombe Retail Park at High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.

The 100,000 sq ft (9,300 sq m) park forms part of a mixed-use scheme on a former sewage works and paper mill site off London Road.

PC World has taken a 16,000 sq ft (1,485 sq m) unit and Furniture Village has signed up to 12,000 sq ft (1,115 sq m). Other tenants at the scheme include Wickes, Comet and Pizza Hut.

Letting agents Smith Price and Morgan Williams have been quoting rents of about£30 per sq ft (£320 per sq m). Kennet Properties development director Simon Williams said: ‘We have experienced exceptional demand from retailers wanting space in the scheme.’
