David Robinson

As a Be Inspired ambassador, David is able to draw on more than 20 years’ experience in retail at major retailers such as Dixons Store Group, Homebase and Argos.

David joined Pets at Home in 2018 in the role of chief operating officer for the group’s retail division, managing an estate of more than 450 retail stores and 300 grooming salons, with a workforce of more than 10,000 retail colleagues. He is hugely invested in progressing talent within the retail industry.

David says: “The success of any organisation is highly dependent on the skills and talent of the people working there. It’s our role as leaders within the retail industry to spot and nurture talent wherever it may lie, regardless of background and personal circumstances.

“Because of this, I’m delighted to be supporting Be Inspired and am passionate about my role as an ambassador of the programme.”
