Tom Hunter vehicle takes on new sites while 15 are to be added to Topshop portfolio
A further 20 Etam stores that were acquired by Philip Green on April 4 have been sold to private equity partnership West Coast Capital, owned by Tom Hunter (pictured).

As has been arranged with Monsoon, the existing staff in the stores will be transferred to the new owner, although it is not yet clear which West Coast brand they will trade under.

Some 15 Etam stores will be converted to the Topshop brand, in places where the chain does not already have a presence. The additions will take the total number of Topshop stores to 316. The sites should be converted to the Topshop brand by the end of September.
