Toys R Us Holdings, parent of the toy retailer in the UK, has filed figures at Companies House showing a rise in profits and sales.
The figures flesh out the performance of the retail arm, Toys R Us Ltd (Retail Week, July 4). Toys R Us Holdings grew pre-tax profit by 9.6 per cent to£29.3 million, while sales grew by 9.7 per cent to£535.8 million.
A spokesman said Toys R Us Ltd figures did not include profits from rent paid for the use of property wholly-owned by Toys R Us Property Ltd.
