Topshop has extended its contract with model Kate Moss for her eponymous clothing range.

The model-cum-designer has so far delivered eight collections under the brand Kate Moss for Topshop, sold in 22 countries worldwide and online.

Topshop owner Sir Philip Green said: "I believe this has been a great partnership for both Topshop and Kate. Having had two years experience, I am confident that Kate's collection now has the potential to become a significant global brand within Topshop."

Moss will continue to produce her key collection as well as an accessories and lingerie range next year.

Separately, rumours have dominated the fashion press this week that Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole could be the next celebrity to design her own clothing line for Topshop.
