Musical toy set to be a big hit
A doll that answers back, an unstoppable multi-terrain monster and an orange tiger that performs gymnastics to a backing track from 1990s hip-hop star MC Hammer are the toys Woolworths predicts will be the top Christmas sellers this year.

The£69.99 Amazing Amanda - a 'virtually alive' baby doll that responds to its mother's voice and displays different emotions depending on the time of day or season - is likely to be high on Christmas lists for little girls, according to Woolies.

The retailer predicts that boys will hanker after Cyber Shocker, an 'action machine' priced at£79.99 that 'storms' over dirt, sand, snow and water - not to mention kitchen floors.

Disney's latest incarnation of Winnie the Pooh's Tigger character should be a hit with toddlers, said the retailer. Tumble Time Tigger, at£44.99, performs handstands and somersaults - each time to the tune of MC Hammer's classic You Can't Touch This.

Other top 10 predictions include Bratz Rock Angelz, Star Wars Light Sabre, Monopoly Here and Now and a Star WarsTrivial Pursuit DVD game.
