Staff at The Hut Group got the Lord Sugar treatment last week as the etailer embarked on its own version of reality show The Apprentice.

Employees took part in a week-long task devising marketing, merchandising and pricing plans for specific products on its site with the winning team taking home a trophy, credit at the retailer and more importantly, bragging rights.

Chief operations officer John Gallemore played the Lord Sugar role in the boardroom. Let’s hope he didn’t have to say “you’re fired” to anyone.
