Sainsbury’s Argos and Walgreens Boots Alliance have become the latest retail partners for Retail Week’s Tech. festival.

The grocery and electricals giant and health and beauty titan have both signed on as partners with the second annual Tech. festival, which brings together technology leaders and innovators across retail and other industries.

Both businesses will bring between 10 and 30 employees from across their respective organisations to attend the festival, which is taking place on September 12-13.

Sainsbury’s Argos and Walgreens Boots Alliance are two of Tech.’s 14 retail partners and will join firms including The Hut Group, Matalan, Tesco, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Shop Direct, John Lewis and Dixons Carphone.

Tech. is a two-day festival that will host delegates from 32 countries and 14 universities.

The festival’s 210 speakers include Ocado chief technology officer Paul Clarke, Kingfisher’s group digital director John Mewett and Starbucks EMEA president Martin Brok.
