Ecommerce director, Asos

As one of the very first employees at Asos, Hart has grown with the company and is now leading all of its major launches this year including mobile, Fashion Finder and Marketplace.

Hart is also in charge of making sure the customer journey around the site and the shopping experience at Asos is as smooth as possible, encouraging shoppers to come back time and time again. This is not straightforward as the site, its offer and customer base are all growing at breakneck speed.

Marketplace will bring together clothes that individuals, small brands and businesses want to sell to leverage the Asos audience. This, along with Fashion Finder, which brings fashion from all over the world and from brands not stocked on Asos, aims to make the site the place to come for any fashion from anywhere.

Although Asos is usually a leader in many etail fronts, it is just behind the likes of Marks & Spencer and John Lewis with its mobile site launch. However, Asos says its mobile site - launched in late October - doesn’t just replicate its full ecommerce site, but has been designed specifically for the way people shop using mobile devices.

Hart’s outward looking nature and focus on usability makes him one of Asos’ not so secret weapons.
