Tammy steps up marketing drive with new ad push

Teen fashion chain Tammy is to launch a second wave of press advertising after its Christmas trial proved a success.

The Christmas pilot, themed on 'going out', was the first press advertising campaign in Tammy's history and coincided with sister brand Etam's first print advertising for six years.

Tammy's new campaign will be across girls' mags such as Sugar, J17, Cosmo Girl and Bliss, and will be supplemented by a mailing campaign to account card holders.

Tammy has also linked up with pop band Blazin' Squad in a sponsorship and promotional deal.

The advertising and marketing push follows improvements in the retailer's ranges.
