Go interactive shopping at The Brewery Store pop up, with a VR 360 hop garden tour and a real bar.

A good pop-up is still worth a visit and at the moment Shepherd Neame’s store in Bluewater merits inspection.

Open until July 6, The Brewery Store is run by Britain’s oldest brewer, which has its headquarters just down the road in Faversham, Kent.

The 1,800 sq ft pop-up’s design is a mix of brewing paraphernalia and beer barrels feature strongly.

There is a bar with beverages on tap, including its newly launched first ever cider, and a shop-in-shop selling bottled beers and brewery-themed merchandise.

A nod is also paid to technology in the shape of HOPS360, a virtual tour of a hop garden.

This is a store that takes a slice of local heritage and preaches to the converted, as the majority of customers will be pretty familiar with Shepherd Neame, which plays a significant role in the culture of Kentish life.

It also happens to look pretty good and anybody acquainted with the brewery and its products will probably drop by.
