London luxury chocolate shop Cocomaya is expanding at the end of the month to open an adjoining bakery.

The Cocomaya bakery, which will include a tearoom, will open on Connaught Street on October 29 in place of the existing Cocomaya chocolate shop, which will relocate to adjoining premises at 3 Porchester Place.

Cocomaya, co-founded by former Liberty head of concept Joe Bernstein and partnered by Agent Provocateur founder Serena Rees, has signed a 10-year lease with Briant Champion Long for both units, which form part of the Connaught Village owned by the Church Commissioners.
