Store openings to mark Trafford Centre's birthday

A raft of retailers are poised to open at Manchester's Trafford Centre to coincide with its fifth trading anniversary.

Womenswear retailer Coast will open a flagship standalone store in a 1,335 sq ft (125 sq m) unit, while sports brand O'Neill will take a 3,885 sq ft (360 sq m) shop.

Jane Shilton has already opened, and Virgin Ware will launch its first store in the Northwest. Jeweller Goldsmiths will open a second store in a 2,300 sq ft (215 sq m) unit.

Trafford Centre operations director Steve Bunce said: 'Last year we attracted a record 27 million visitors and we're looking to build on this again.'
