My Beauty Matches allows shoppers to browse and purchase health and beauty products from multiple retailers on a single centralised platform.
The online marketplace records members’ preferences and makes personalised product recommendations based on their selections.
The platform is designed to offer discerning shoppers unbiased insight into which products they should use, giving retailers access to affluent shoppers that may not shop in their bricks-and-mortar stores.
Chief executive and founder Nidhima Kohli says: “My Beauty Matches offers online beauty personalisation, using algorithm technology to match customers to the right products based on their individual online beauty profile.”
What problem it solves
Online marketplaces are becoming increasingly commonplace in the fashion sector but My Beauty Matches focus on personalisation in beauty makes it of particular interest for retailers.
By offering shoppers access to products in a platform outside of their own online proposition, retailers can use My Beauty Matches to reach consumers they may not otherwise have access to.
“Our customers are time-poor women aged 25-65 with deep pockets in need of a fast and effective solution to find and purchase the correct beauty products easily and quickly,” says Kohli.
