Selfridges has created a retail midsummer night’s dream, despite the rain, with Shakespeare-themed windows by fashion designers including Rick Owens and Dries Van Noten.

The windows depict recreate scenes from the playwright’s works and feature specially created clothing which can be bought in-store.

A theatre has been set up inside Selfridges, where Much Ado About Nothing will be staged.

The windows and events are part of a campaign to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.
