Jewellery chain Mikey has bought a wholesale management information system from Eurostop to manage sales and stock to its 400-plus wholesale customers and 20 retail outlets.
The system manages all ordering to Mikey's suppliers and sorts out orders for wholesale or retail destinations. It gives Mikey's management a clear view on recent sales, allowing them to optimise availability.
Mikey head of wholesale operations Mark Hirschel said: 'The system is much better than our previous way of working because we didn't have easy access to timely business information. Now we have access to data right across the business.
'We can see in detail what customers are doing, which is vital for effective marketing.
It gives us valuable information that enables us to take important commercial decisions with confidence.'
