Retail Solutions - Asda includes Pudsey in digital voice messaging

Asda has extended its digital voice messaging system to its store in Pudsey. The voice-activated system from Quail Digital speeds up requests for information from till staff to customer service employees.

A key pad also enables till staff to send short pre-recorded voice messages, allowing managers to know the nature of a delay at the till before they get there. Messages can be tailored to cope with special promotions.

Asda customer services manager John Barnsley said: 'Transmitting immediate voice messages allows staff to react swiftly to customer needs.'
