Retail Property - Milton Keynes centre signs fashion names

Moda in Pelle, Warehouse, Principles and Monserrat have all secured new units at the Thecentre:mk scheme at Milton Keynes.

Monserrat is upsizing at the scheme and moving into 74/76 Midsummer Arcade.

The unit provides 3,220 sq ft (300 sq m) of ground floor space and 1,945 sq ft (180 sq m) on the first floor. A 15-year lease has been agreed at£437,000 a year.

Warehouse has taken an assignment of Kangol's lease at 60 Midsummer Arcade, which expires in September 2016. The unit consists of 1,650 sq ft (155 sq m) on the ground floor and 350 sq ft (30 sq m) on first floor. The passing rent is£180,000 a year.

Principles is moving into 44 Midsummer Arcade and has taken a 15-year lease on a unit with a 1,585 sq ft (145 sq m) ground floor and 315 sq ft (30 sq m) on the first floor. In addition, Shoe retailer Moda in Pelle has taken a 10-year lease on a 610 sq ft (55 sq m) unit.

Thecentre:mk is owned by Hermes and Prudential. Letting agents for the joint owners are DTZ Debenham Tie Leung and Dalgleish.
