Chesterfield's Vicar Lane Shopping Centre and Wrexham's Henblas Square have changed hands for more than£55 million in total.
John Griffiths, head of investment at Lunson Mitchenall, which represented the vendor Dunedin Property, said: 'The occupation market is generally still strong and, if anything, there is too little new stock around, rather than a shortage of buyers.'
Puma Fund acquired Henblas Square for£14.6 million, and Scottish Widows bought Vicar Lane Shopping Centre for£49.9 million. The yield for both deals is close to 7 per cent.
Franc Warwick advised Puma Fund, while Lewis Ellis and Jackson Criss acted for Scottish Widows.
