Slowdown in consumer spending will cause retail warehousing's high rental growth levels to slow, according to Lambert Smith Hampton's 2003 Retail Warehouse Report. Rental growth could drop below 4 per cent a year, if annual growth in consumer spending fell to 2 per cent.
