Property News - Tunbridge mall approved

Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott has granted planning approval on appeal for an 80,000 sq ft (7,430 sq m) non-food retail scheme at Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The retail development on Dowding Way was called in following approval by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council in March last year. Planning consultant Hepher Dixon successfully argued at the public inquiry that the proposal would not harm retailing in the town centre.
