Property News - Remaining Bullring units taken

Dixons and Borders have signed up for two of the last four large units at Birmingham's Bullring development.

Dixons is to open its new XL format in a 2,785 sq m two-storey outlet on Bullring's upper trading level, while Borders is to trade from a three-storey 2,600 sq m shop overlooking St Martin's Square.

Hammerson director of retail leasing Sheila King said: 'The opportunity for Borders to create something special with its cafe conservatory concept at Bullring was a key attraction for the retailer. And Dixons' new format will bring to the region one of the most comprehensive merchandising offers in this sector.'

The joint agents for Bullring are Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker, Jones Lang LaSalle and Lunson Mitchenall.
