Matalan has taken a 45,500 sq ft (4,275 sq m) store with a 6,160 sq ft (530 sq m) mezzanine being carved out of Asda's former supermarket at Cwmbran Shopping Centre in South East Wales. The retailer has taken a 20-year lease at£465,000 a year, subject to five-yearly, upward-only rent review.
