Property News - Domino's secures nine additional sites

Domino's Pizza has secured nine new retail sites throughout the UK, as part of its store expansion programme.

The new stores are in Amersham, Barry, Birmingham, Lichfield, Bognor Regis, Daventry, Dronfield, Edinburgh and Manchester. Each store is approximately 1,200 sq ft (110 sq m).

Property acquisitions manager Colin Jarrold said: 'Demand for high-quality, delivered pizza is on the increase, because hard-working consumers seek greater convenience in an effort to make the most of their leisure time.'

Even though Domino's now has more than 290 stores in the UK and Ireland, almost 60 per cent of the population still lives outside Domino's delivery range, implying that the store expansion programme still has some way to go.
