Property News - Covent Garden facelift

The Covent Garden Limited Partnership - set up by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and Henderson Global Investors - has started work on an ambitious project to give Covent Garden's oldest house, at 43 King Street, a radical facelift. The completed project, designed by architect Durkan Pudelek, will provide retail space on the lower floors and residential flats above. Known as Russell House, the 18th century Grade 2* listed building is the oldest surviving building on the Covent Garden Piazza.
