I’m lucky to have a strong board of directors, which includes Nick Wheeler and Jean Marc Bouhelier, who provide support and a wealth of experience.
What advice would you give someone starting out in retail?
Get under the skin of your market and target audience. The retail landscape is changing so fast and as a retailer you need to adapt to those changes.
What keeps you awake at night?
The thought of getting up in time to get my son Jake to school, going for a run and then catching the train to London.

The recognition that we receive from the industry and press on a daily basis. I believe it’s the best public testament to the team’s hard work across all areas of the business, which is acknowledged by our peers.
What job would you have done if you hadn’t become a retailer?
A boutique florist.
What’s your favourite shop and why?
Flamant in Paris, which is an amazing interiors shop, where everything looks like it could be unique with its own history.
