This week sees the launch of value fashion and homewares retailer Matalan's first TV advertising campaign since the appointment of M&C Saatchi earlier this year. The new campaign will launch nationally today.
The ad push is based on the concept of customers uncovering the value at Matalan.
The first advertisement, 'Autumn Uncovered', reveals real people and families in Matalan autumn fashions emerging from beneath autumn leaves.
The campaign will be followed by two further commercials in November and December, which again will pick up on the time of year.
The 'Uncover the Value' tag will also be used in other marketing, including radio, print and direct marketing.
