Londis retailers to get their say

KPMG is to stage a roadshow it meet with and hear the concerns of Londis retailers, as the advisor reviews strategic options for the symbol group.

The first meeting will take place before the end of this month. KPMG aims to complete the review by the end of next month, when it will recommend a way forward.

Retailers Big Food Group, Musgrave, Nisa-Today's, Somerfield and Co-op are all interested in Londis and are understood to have met KPMG in the past couple of weeks.

- Musgrave-owned Budgens announced like-for-like sales up 4.1 per cent for the four weeks to December 28. Like-for-like sales for the year were up 3.7 per cent.
