Heathrow store opens this month
Upmarket shoe retailer Kurt Geiger and luxury brand Tod's have set up a joint venture to open a Tod's store at Heathrow's Terminal 3. The boutique, selling shoes, handbags and other accessories, will open this month.

The partnership is already in talks to open a similar outlet at Heathrow's new Terminal 5.

Kurt Geiger chief executive Neil Clifford said: 'We have every confidence that we will see strong growth from this exciting joint venture.'

Tod's chairman Diego Della Valle added: 'Kurt Geiger is an important partner to Tod's across its luxury portfolio and we are extremely pleased that they will be managing our important airside expansion.'

Kurt Geiger is the largest wholesaler of Gucci and Prada shoes in Europe and has more than 70 brands in its portfolio, including Jimmy Choo and Dolce & Gabbana.

Tod's has more than 100 outlets worldwide and is the parent company of the Fay and Hogan brands.
