Jaeger stormed London Fashion Week on Sunday with the first fashion show in the group’s 125-year history. The show premiered the autumn/winter Jaeger London range.

Chairman Harold Tillman, who took the reins from Sir Stuart Rose as head of the British Fashion Council on the same day, said the show marks a big push by the fashion chain into wholesale.

It is understood that Jaeger received several orders this week from international buyers. Tillman said: “There is a great international potential and we have already had some Japanese orders.”

The Jaeger London range launched in 30 of the retailer’s UK stores and has now been rolled out to 40 branches.
