Carrefour is reintroducing non-branded entry-price products in parallel with its Carrefour Discount range, it has been reported.

Only a handful of SKUs are available at present – including ham and coffee – but more could be on the way. Most of them are packaged in a similar style to the distinctive red designs of Produits N°1, Carrefour’s former economy private-label range.

Produits N°1 was withdrawn after Carrefour’s merger with Promodès in 2000, then reintroduced and abandoned once again in 2009.
