Interiors - Results of £7m revamp unveiled at Peter Jones

This week's reopening of the final stage of Peter Jones' refurbishment at Sloane Square marked the end of a five-year,£7 million contract for Bournemouth-based shopfitter Interserve.

Interserve managing director Brian Appleyard said the project has 'no flashy gimmicks in it. It's just a quality approach with clean lines, something that characterises John Lewis'.

Final handover of the work took place at the weekend, although an 'insignificant amount of work remains to be done on the fifth floor', according to Appleyard.

Interserve has worked with John Lewis on store openings and revamps at Edinburgh, Bluewater, Touchwood in Solihull, Bristol's Cribbs Causeway and Southampton's West Quay.
