Retail Week terms of business
1. Notwithstanding any other term of the Contract, if:
(a) on 3 June 2021 COVID-19 continues to constitute a global pandemic in the assessment of the WHO (a “Pandemic”); and
(b) you provide notice to us in writing prior to 10 June 2021 accompanied by evidence in form and substance satisfactory to us that as a direct result of the Pandemic:
(i) the government of the country or state where you are [located/based/resident] (the “Attendee Territory”) has closed its international border so that you are prohibited from travel from or back to the Attendee Territory for the Event; and/or
(ii) the government of the Attendee Territory has issued official advice against travel to United Kingdom; and/or
(iii) the government of the Attendee Territory has imposed a quarantine on return from travel from United Kingdom; and/or
(iv) the government or state of the Attendee Territory imposes a period of lockdown so that you are prohibited from leaving your home except for essential requirements,
then you may obtain a refund equal to an amount reflecting the purchase price of your [ticket/table].
Notwithstanding any other term of the Contract, if COVID-19 continues to constitute a Pandemic on 3 June 2021, we may determine that as a direct result of the Pandemic it has become commercially impractical or unfeasible to hold the Event. In that situation, we will provide notice in writing to you as soon as is reasonably practicable, and we will endeavour to reschedule the Event to a date which falls within the same calendar year as the Event (the ‘Contingency Event’). If we are able to do so, your [ticket/table] will be transferred to the Contingency Event. If we are unable to do so, then you may obtain a refund equal to the purchase price of your ticket.
