Beauty brand Bobbi Brown is to open its first standalone UK store at Westfield London next month, Retail Week can reveal.

The 927 sq ft shop forms part of the beauty brand’s global expansion strategy to open stores in major cities.

Bobbi Brown is one of three new beauty openings at Westfield London. Molton Brown has signed to open a shop in the scheme in October while this week cosmetics giant Mac relocated to a larger 2,000 sq ft shop in the centre, it is understood.

Westfield London has also signed fashion retailer Weekend Max Mara, which will open a store in the centre in December. Sales at Westfield London, which opened in 2008, have surged 40% in the last five years and the scheme has signed 23 new retailers in the last 12 months alone. The centre is now 99% let.

Westfield director of operations Bill Giouroukos said: “Westfield London continues to build on an already strong year and is thrilled to welcome these new retailers who will once again widen what can be offered to customers.  Despite opening in a global recession back in 2008, our sales have grown by over 40% and footfall has grown by over 20% in the past five years.”
