The Hamleys shop will be its first outside of its London flagship on Regent Street. The 30,000 sq ft shop will be the toy retailer’s new regional format.

Other retailers to open in the first phase include Wheels of Sport and Jessica Boo.

The remaing retailers signed up to the extension, which will add 250,000 sq ft to the development, will open in phases over the next few months.

Ivanhoe Cambridge vice-president of leasing for Europe Richard Kingston said: “The strength of St. Enoch and Glasgow has shone through - a fact reinforced by Hamleys’ decision to open its second UK store in the scheme.”
Cushman & Wakefield is marketing the remaining units at the scheme.
