Lidl UK will begin testing a new private label baby brand next month under the trademarked name Lidl’uns, according to reports.

The new range is a prime way for Lidl to win customers and increase basket spend of its current family shoppers, IGD Retail Analysis has reported.

Lidl’s partnership with Mumsnet will play a strong role in promoting brand awareness of Lidl’uns, providing a huge podium to interact with expecting and new mums.

Toujours, Lidl’s current private label baby range, consists of nappies and baby wipes. Lidl is preparing to expand its private label range significantly under Lidl’uns with baby food, toiletries, non-food items and more.
