Future uncertain for quoted minnow
Forminster, the business that operates Kookaï in the UK, has announced it will not be renewing the Kookaï franchise agreement after December 31 this year.

Both Forminster and Kookaï are said to be discussing new ways to operate the fashion fascia in the UK. However, the announcement casts uncertainty over Kookaï's UK retail future.

Seymour Pierce analyst Richard Ratner said: 'This is a potentially disastrous statement.'

Forminister, which operates the Kookaï brand through 55 UK outlets, has been dependent on the troubled business for many years.
