Floors-2-Go has revealed it intends to open 30 stores in the UK next year, taking it a step further towards its vision of a 300-strong portfolio.

The retailer, which has 137 UK stores, is seeking sites of about 2,500 sq ft (230 sq m). It favours standalone locations, but is also considering retail parks.

Among the areas on its radar are Dartford, High Wycombe, Beckenham, Aberdeen and Doncaster. It is also in talks for sites at Watford, Whetstone, Macclesfield, Luton, Aintree and Burgess Hill.

Floors-2-Go chief executive Roger McLaughlan said: “We have identified a number of locations where we envisage the brand having a strong presence.”

Morgan Martin, Eric Young, Cushman & Wakefield, Edgerley Simpson Howe and Bartlett Property are acting for Floors-2-Go.
