Frasers Group has named Greg Pateras as the boss of its newly acquired fashion brands Missguided and I Saw It First.

Pateras, who was previously chief executive of I Saw It First, will take on a dual role to grow both businesses under the Frasers umbrella, as first reported by Retail Gazette.

Pateras joined the retailer as executive director last summer before taking the helm in November, with the goal of selling the business.

It is understood Missguided founder Nitin Passi, who was reappointed chief executive of the brand eight weeks after it was purchased by Frasers, will take on a consultancy role for the group.

The retail conglomerate purchased Missguided out of administration in May and snapped up fellow fast-fashion brand I Saw It First two months later.

Pateras has previously led the digital turnaround at Matalan and held the role of chief financial officer at Shop Direct, now The Very Group.
