Experian Footfall

Experian Footfall data for week 8, 2011

February 20 2011 to February 27, 2011

  • Footfall increased 12.8% week on week and 7.1% year-on-year. It was half term for most schools within the UK last week, whereas this week last year was when schools returned. For this reason the discrepancy between half term weeks has produced a large increase not only week-on-week but year-on-year too.
  • Footfall increased in retail parks 5.7% week on week and 5.4% year on year. Retail parks were slightly behind shopping centres last week although they did show growth on the week and the year. Shoppers were attracted more to shopping centres than retail parks over the half term week.
