Experian Footfall

Experian Footfall Data for Week 7, 2010

February 15, 2010 to February 21, 2010

  • Weekly footfall levels continued to rise, with week 7 seeing the UK National Index increase week-on-week by 1.1%, with school half-term holidays still taking place across most UK regions. Consequently, the Department Store Index also experienced a week-on-week uplift of 3.5%.

  • Although the Department Store Index also experienced another year-on-year increase this week of 6.6%, the UK National Index‘s performance was, again, relatively flat, and saw a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%. With promotions for Mother’s Day and Easter already in earnest, we should continue to see buoyant trends in footfall.
