Experian Footfall

Experian Footfall data for week 43, 2010

October 25, 2010 to October 31, 2010

  • The national index experienced a week-on-week increase of 8.4%. The last two weeks have shown strong week-on-week growth figures, which is to be expected for these two weeks in October and mirrors previous years. Halloween on the weekend and half term for schools combined to make last week a particularly high footfall week, the highest so far this year.
  • Footfall within retail parks has been unpredictable during October and doesn’t echo the same week-on-week growth rates throughout the month as the national index, suggesting shoppers would rather the shelter of the shopping centre as the days become cooler and the nights become darker.
