Game is to open 316 of its stores from midnight on Thursday as it expects Black Friday to draw in its biggest ever midnight opening crowd.

The video games retailer, which regularly opens its doors at midnight for the release of major computer games, will open from 11.59pm on November 27 until 3am on November 28. Stores will reopen again at 6am and stay open until midnight on Black Friday.

The Black Friday opening hours mark Game’s most extended midnight opening times - usually the shops are open until around 1am.

The retailer, which has about 326 stores in the UK, said it expects thousands of customers to queue to snap up deals on consoles, games and accessories.

Game said it will reveal deals at 6pm on November 27 on Twitter, Facebook and its website.
