Early Learning Centre is cutting back on staff by up to 13 per cent at its head office ahead of what it believes will be a toughening economic environment.
Up to 25 out of 190 jobs could go. A spokeswoman said the reduction was part of a review of business structure which began a week ago. The consultation process should be complete by early next month.
Jobs will go across all functions, including marketing, HR and accounts.
'It's about positioning ourselves in the best way to take the business forward,' she said. Senior directors are unaffected.
