Disney has appointed a new head of its stores in Europe.
Chris Davies arrives on April 1 as managing director, responsible for retail in the UK, France, Spain and Italy. He replaces Ben Gordon, who became Mothercare chief executive last year.
At present, he is vice-president of merchandising for office supplies retailer Staples' European division.
Davies will take over the chain on the back of its revival under Gordon.
The UK division made pre-tax profits of£3.6 million in the year to September 30 compared with a loss of£2.6 million the year before.
