Electricals retailer Currys has a profile on Pinterest and curates a number of boards that allow it to speak to its customers in a unique way.

One clever example is the way the retailer is using Pinterest to show its involvement in events, recently creating a board to cover its attendance at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Currys has pinned a mixture of products and images from the show to give a flavour of the themes and innovative products on display. This allows it to connect with customers on a different level, showing its interest and expert knowledge as well as providing discussion points.

This might also allow the retailer to gauge customer interest in certain products, possibly informing its buying decisions.
