The busiest and most divisive day in the retail calendar is upon us – Black Friday.
The US shopping import has made a splash since it was brought to the UK.
For some retailers Black Friday provides a much-needed filip in the run-up to Christmas and kickstarts festive spending, for others it’s an unnecessary margin giveaway during the busiest shopping period of the year.
The shopping extravaganza is fast evolving in the UK.
Some retailers are opting out, others are drawing out their promotions from a day to a week or fortnight of deals and scenes of packed high streets are giving way to strangely quiet stores as shoppers take to the web to find bargains.
Join us and experts from PCA Predict on Twitter today from 1.00pm to 1.45pm to discuss how Black Friday will play out this year and whether the discount shopping day is here to stay.
Share your thoughts or ask your burning Black Friday questions using #RWBlackFriday this lunchtime.
