US lingerie brand Baci Lingerie is to launch in the UK with the aim of opening 50 stores over the next five years, with the first slated to open in May.

Baci Lingerie, which currently has one standalone store in Hungary but wholesales to countries including the US, Canada, Russia and Australia, is owned by Internetmarketing Miami. In the UK, it will be operated by adult entertainment company ABS Holdings.

Baci managing director Symon Reeves said: “This is an exciting opportunity to distribute and retail an affordable luxury product.” Bra and knicker sets will cost between £10 and £15.

Reeves said he is seeking stores in mainstream shopping areas, such as Bluewater and Meadowhall. The stores will be run and owned by ABS under the Baci Lingerie name.
