Customers to save 2p a litre
Value grocer Asda has sparked a fuel price war by slashing the cost of diesel and unleaded petrol by up to 2p a litre.

Drivers will be able to top up their tanks for just 93.9p a litre at any Asda store in the UK. This price drop follows a recent AA announcement that it costs UK motorists£77 more a year to keep a small family car on the road.

Asda petrol director David Miles said: 'Not only have we rolled back the price of petrol, putting more pounds in people's pockets, but customers from Brighton to Belfast are guaranteed exactly the same price at the pump.'

Additionally, all Asda credit and store cardholders are entitled to a further 2p a litre discount when paying for fuel with their card.
